I went to Costco to get (245/75/16) all terrain tires for my 00 disco. I didn’t realize that they would only mount the 255/65/16 (Costco policy).
Costco did say they would sell me the tires (245/75/16) without a warranty, they refused to put the on. I assume it’s because of the rim size. Does any one know if I can get 245/65/16 all terrain tires? Is it really unsafe to put a smaller tire in a bigger rim?![]() |

Go to Discount tire, they will take good care of you and do the fre rotates for less then Costco.
Costco's guide line is for their liability only and does not mean that a larger tire will not be safe. Mike |
