Smile Tire question: 55s or 60s

For all of you tire experts. I have a Disco II 2001 SE7 with SLS and ACE. I don’t do any heavy off-road (plan to put a 2”lift in the future) and still have 18” wheels; worst part is that I still have the original GY HP Wranglers. Before the winter I will put a new set of shoes on my truck. It will be either Nitto Terra Grapplers or the General AT2, on the 255-55/18 size; however General makes a 255-60/18. I am tempted to try the 60s but don’t know if the 5mm will cause any major “problems” or what differences. I recently drove an LR3 with 60s and it look much better that the 55s.

Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, sorry for the dump question

It's not 5mm. It's 5% of the width (255 mm) taller. The stocks are 29" vs. the 60 series being 30". Check out this site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

PS...I never saw a question about a "dump".
