Default Tire suggestion for 2000 DISCO II

hi,

I have stock Goodyear HP 255/65/R16 and i dont like the performance regarding noise and thread wear. I read the forum about tire feed back, I like micheline XPC which is discontinued. But COSTCO has it. i am trying to avoid discontinued one. Please send your feed back, which tire is good for ( Miles >=50000 and less road noise)

Most of the time driving on Highways, no offroad driving. Occational snow.

And guess what, I have those exact GrandTreks on my RRC right now thanks to Josh here. They do beautifully off and on road.

And "goof" Josh? LMAO

Yeah if you wanna get something affordable, and good on and off road performance, as well as, no road roar from the tires, and decent tread wear, Dunlops, or if you can get Michelin LTX M+S, those are good too.

another cheaper alternative to BFG AT's might be Goodyear Tracker 2's. I ran them in the mountians on rock steps and all, and even pinched the crap out of one between the rock and and rim(friend spotting me almost crapped his pants at the look of it he said, we were about 15 miles from camp hehe) and it held like a dream and just popped back into place once over it. They have been great on and offroad for me and a complete tire IMO
