Talking Tires?

I own a 2006 Range Rover Sport HSE and it's that time to replace the stock tires even though I've only got 22,000 miles on them. I mostly drive on the streets and occasionally go off-roading (2-3 times/year). I'm looking for tires similar to the stock Continental tires, but maybe ones that will last longer, but at the same time not compromise the smooth ride. Any suggestions?

What size are your current tires and what speed rating is on the side wall?

It is a letter, in your case, may be an H or a V.

Actually after double checking it's a Y not a V.

I was looking a these tires, would they be sufficient or a good choice?

One reason your tires are wearing so fast is because of the V speed rating which I believe says your tires can hold a sustained speed of 140 MPH, which we all can only wish.
I would suggest you go more fore a "H" rated tire looking at the Bridestone line.

Is there a specific model from Bridgestone you would recommend? Does Bridgestone make tires in size 255/50/19?

I use the Michelin Latitude Tour HP on my 2002 Disco, mostly street with some light off road and lots of snow and ice. Have 25,000kms (~15,000 miles) on them and they look like new. Have really worked well on the disco.
