Right now black rims are the norm for 4 wheeling. Black steel rims that can take a beating and keep on going. I don't know what the smallest rim size you can run with your trucks brake setup. 15" would allow the best selection of rims and tires, but 16" would be your 2nd best bet.

Those are the most popular/common black steel rim designs. If you don't like black you could always go chrome/polished but you loose some of the 4x4 look.

Tire wise not knowing how much you drive every day, and what kind of terrain you wheel in, with a 70/30 ratio your looking at the All Terrain category. BFG A/T KO, General Grabber AT/2, Nitto Terra Grappler, are just a few brand names that come to mind. They will on average last more than 50k, and will give you good on-road performance plus improved off-road performance. If you can live with a slightly louder tire, and only lasts 40-45k or so, you could go with a mud terrain. But that depends also on if you wheel in the mud regularly or not. If you go that route BFG Mud KM2s are the most popular by far, but you also have options from Goodyear in the MTR, Procomp Mud Terrain, and a couple other choices.

The 2009 Tire Rack One Lap of America organized by Brock Yates packed a year's worth of automotive competition into just eight days. This year's event challenged driver and vehicle endurance as teams transited almost 3,400 miles on the highway and measured their performance in skidpad and autocross competition, as well as drag racing and track times. It combined new tires, new cars, new tracks and even new overall winners.

I'm GUESSING, you're running a Discovery II? If so, why do you want such a narrow tire. I would say go AT LEAST a 235.

Those tires both come in a 245/75 and a 265/75.

If I were you I would get somethign from Interco.... They make the super swamper tires, but they make other tires too which are all awesome off road. I just ordered two sets of M-16's for my series 2 discover and P38 Range Rover...... I think you should hook your car up with some RoverTym 3" springs and some new M-16's and if you wanted to do new shocks too, I am getting some Rancho shocks soon, they cost way less than Bilstein and are still awesome!

w/o lifting you SHOULD be. Some people run 265/75 without lifting and they experience a lil rubbing. With 245/75 you should be ok.

I think you should buy some winter tyres of Bridgestone. It will be the best.
