Default Trxus MT's

Anybody here have any experience with Interco Truxs MT's? I am pricing a set for my 109 in 255/85/16, Same diameter as a 285/75/16 and same width as a 265/75/16, should be a nice compromise for my lifted 109.

I've been running 285/75r16s on my Disco since September and I love them. I was worried about the noise but on city roads they're barely noticeable and on the highway they're more quiet than spiked tires. They're amazing in the snow, very aggressive even when stuck in 24+ inches. I haven't been able to play with them off-road yet because of the winter though.

Cheers

~Ben

I'm running the same as above and love them...fantastic in snow and wet mud.

I used to run BFG but the Truxs seem to be quieter on the highway. Lot's of siping.

Where did you find a good deal on 255/85/16s?

Rondo-

I'm running 265/75/16 on my DII, lifted. They run great. For me it was a toss up between those and Pro-Comps, but have to say I have no regrets on the purchase. I'm going to buy another set soon to drop on my Classic, so yes, happy with them. I don't notice the road noise too much either, and yes, they grip on just about everything.

Check ebay. I found a warehouse supplier and he got me four of them for $550 shipped, two day delivery. He's got warehouses all over the country so it was a good deal. Might start there.

I run them in a 235/85-16 on my classic. they are a good tire. one of the 5 wasnt round and had issues balancing, but the others were good. the 5th I mounted up top as the spare until it could be replaced. They have been good on road and off.

I have them on my classic in a 255/85 got them for 140 a piece at national wheel and tire. Excellent tire, very tough, I run mine at about 12 psi on standard 3 spoke rover rims.

Well I finally have first-hand wheeling experience with these tires...

I went to a snow-covered trail last night, about 20 trucks total. Jeeps, 4Runners and Sidekicks mostly, some extremely modded and running 38" boggers.

Guess who'se truck was the only one to NEVER get stuck once... no, you're wrong it was the Rover

So good on roads and fairly quiet compared to other mud-terrains and fantastic in deep, DEEP snow and water. I only regret not getting them in 35" now
