OK, got a new set of Goodyear MT/R's. 225-75x16, load range 'D', The dealership advised that I run them at 50 psi, just wondering if I could drop them 10 psi for road use as they are really hard riding on the road, any idea's.

Yes you drop them to 40 easily. In 3 or 4000 miles just check them for excessive wear on the outer tread ribs and no wear in the middle.
I run my 265's at 40 with no problem then I drop them to 18 for harder wheeling. Mike J. |

Aired them down to 40, so will see if there is any difference to the ride on the way home this afternoon. Will let ya know. BTW, going up to Denver later to check out a 1996 Range Rover 4.6 HSE for my wife. Will post piccies if we get it.
