Default Vendor reference check

Hi there:

Have anyone dealt with this company?

Home - Discount Tire Direct

I am ready to place an order for some Nitto Terra Grapplers and just want to be cautious. I spoke with the guy on the phone and sound honest. He is giving me a good deal on the tires plus free shipping and no taxes to NY. On the other hand, am I getting the same quality as my tire guy will provide me for more money? He is saying that he orders by hundreds and can give a lower price versus my tire guy has to special order.

Just checking, I appreciate your comments.

Thanks

Figman

I haven't used that tire place before, but you should still be getting the same Nitto's as your tire place. Where the difference will be is in mounting and balancing. Some tire stores you can take the tires in and for about $50 get lifetime rotate and balance. So you have to consider that when ordering as well. Along with tire disposal fees.

I have used them not online but at their store front in Indiana. Good to deal with generally the best prices in town on name brand tires.

Here in Oregon there store fronts are know as
Americas Tire Co and they have good prices and service. I plan on getting my Nitto's from them in a couple weeks. The local store had the 255/55/18 and the 285/60/18.

there are tons of discount tire stores here and I buy almost all my tires from them. their local stores will match tirerack prices + shipping as the price to buy locally from them. they are good to work with. as for their discount tire direct web site, they are reputable, but I havent done any business with them.
