Default what do you think

Allright yall im going to be buying new tires and i am looking for your input. i have a Disco I with a 2.5" lift and was thinking of putting on some 235/85/16's. I was looking at the BFG Commercial T/A Tractions, does anybody have any experience with these or should I go with these or should i just go with bridgestone dueler revos.

What are you going to use the truck for?

Off road - how much and what terrain type or mostly on road - if on road how spirited do you drive?

For just a generally tyre I guess both would work fine, for me they fall into the vague middle category of not really being aimed at anyone discipline.

Stay away from the commerical tires, they are normally load rated and not suited for a dailey driver. Also are you aware you will loose close to 2 MPG with the 235 tire? I would suggest you go to a 245/75/16.

I don't agree with this one. I did loose some MPH if I count the odometer at face value. But you also have to consider that using 235's result in a 9% increase over stock so if you have 200 miles on the clock that is actually 218 miles. Once you factor that in it's about a wash on MPG.

I went to my local tire store and asked about the commercial tractions and the guy said that i would be stupid to get them althought he has put them on other suvs, he ended up giving me BFG All terrains at whole sale price which is $10 more than the commercial. i got the 235/85 and they look great on my disco
