what PSI should i use while wheeling? 15 or so??? i have a D2 with 32" BFG AT's..any advice?

It depends on what sort of surface you are wheeling on, how strong your side walls are and if you have lockers. Before I put my Detroit/T.T. in, I could roll my l/f tire bead at 18#'s in the rocks, now with the locker, the traction is not being shifted around by the ETC so much, it is more constant.
I have found that my DII, with my 3 ply 265 BFG MT's, works really well at 18#s overall, I'll go to 15 to 16#s in sand, but no lower or I can roll a bead. If you are lowering your air presure just for a softer ride and traction is not an issue, 20 to 24# is all you really need to go to. Good luck, Mike |
