Longtrails are strictly street tires IMHO.

Most of us are off-roaders so we are leaning toward M/Ts.

I've got the Dunlop M/Ts on one truck and for the money they're not bad...

Dunlop- Radial Rover RV have been an all time favorite of mine. Great wear and traction. They're not as common as some but I think you can still get them at discount tire. I've never used the AT's but don't think they're as good as the RV series.

Wait didn't you say you won't take them off-road until you got the lift?because they'll rip up your fenders like courtney love does to a bag of cocaine? But for street use i've heard they ride well but gum up in mud

I've never used them but I've seen people get stuck with them where others have had no problem.

They look great but are not the tyre I'd look at if mud is involved.

haha, true, but I had these MTR's on my Jeep (which I offroaded A LOT) and they were awesome! Even in mud, as long as its not clayish or EXTREMELY nasty they are pretty good.
My RR was only offroaded with stock tires.

So.....Today I made the purchase:

4 BF Goodrich Duelers A/T...they dont make the rover look too beastly but overall they seem pretty nice Hoping to get at least 50k miles out of them which was my overall goal with getting new tires.

Thanks again for all the help and constant feedback!

Excellent tire.
I love the Revo's! I ran them on both Jeeps, and two of the Rovers. Excellent tires, wheeled them too in New Mexico and Ouray, CO; perfect also on road. Lasted long, about 60K miles and they also have a GREAT warranty if purchased at a Firestone or the like.

I have also ran Mickey Thompsons (not too fond of them), MTR's were nice but pricey (great for rock, BAD in mud and highway driving is pitiful with a lift)! I have had the Dunlop Rover, they were ok only lasted about 36K miles though. I have a set of BFG AT's now, so far so good!

I love trying new tires...Not sure what I will experiment with next.

PS I have a set of MTR's in the garage 265/75/16 with 50% tread remaining. You can have them, for the cost of shipping.

BF Goodrich Duelers A/T? The Duelers are Bridgestone. The BFG AT is different.

I'll come take these off your hands if you want to get rid of them. Are they in NY area?

Let me know.

Hey guys! The tires ship out of zip code 75201. Let me get some pics posted to make sure they are what you want. They were wheeled out in MOAB and therefore have a few minor imperfections. I would hate to have you pay for shipping and they not be everything you expected.
