Default Wheel help

I'm strongly considering buying my first LR this weekend and had a few questions that so far I have been unable to find while searching here.

I'm looking at a 2004 Disco II SE and it has the 18" wheels. This vehicle will be used offroad so I want to get some 16" wheels for it so I have a little more rubber between the wheel and the dirt. I've looked on ebay for 16" wheels and most say they are only good up to the 2002 year. Is this true? Am I looking for a particular part number?

I'm not as familiar with LR's as I'd like but I will be learning as I can so I appreciate any feedback I can get.

All the DII years use the same bolt pattern.

Thanks. Thats what I thought as I never read anywhere that said they changed the bolt pattern but wanted to make sure.

I moved it..

I have an 03 Disco I just got 16" wheels for from RoverLand parts. They are actually off a P38 Range Rover 95-01 (i think), but same bolt pattern and cheap! only like 125 a piece. Here is the link for RoverLand (used parts):
Roverland Parts - We know Land Rover Parts

Also, Atlantic British has a good break down of which wheels will fit for your year in the description:
Land Rover - Parts, Accessories and Information

Good Luck!

Watch on any of the Rover forums classified section, people are always selling them, somewhere in the $200 plus range for 4 a little more for 5. Then you can post yours for sale, and if lucky come close to breaking even.
Make sure that when you buy the 16" wheels that you get the 16X8 not the 16X7's.
