Default Wheels

Anyone have any good advice on 16" offroad wheels for a 04' Disco II? Has anyone put these on their 04'? American Racing had some sweet offroad rims but the bolt pattern is unique for a Disco II, 5 on 120. So I might have to settle with plain steel black rims instead of the nice ones. Safari Gard has some cool simulated beadlocks for a Disco II that I might get and add some Firestone Destination M/T's too.

Eric,
Why Firestone MT's, in the 2 Rover clubs and one Jeep club I am in, I have never even seen a set of these. The norm seems to be BFG MT's or GoodYeard MTR's.
Just curious,
Mike J.

I've just had a look at these tires at Tire Rack to see what all the fuss is about, and I must say the tires (Firestone Destination M/T), look impressive. The online tire survey reports that these tires out perform all the other off road brands, and rates BFG at 7. Hmmm! I think i'll wait for a couple of years and see how they perform before I consider changing over for my BFG MT's.

Disco Mike,
Just because you only see BFG's at a couple of clubs doesn't mean that is the best and only off road tire. People have a tendency of imitating others and not wanting to try something out "new". The Firestone/Bridgestone Destination M/T's are new and have had some really good reviews. Check out the following site - http://www.4x4review.com/products/ti...ination-mt.asp

I have to agree with Mike, the BFGs are very good off-road tires. Just my opinion.
