Default Will 20' OEM wheels void your warranty?

Hey there,

First time poster here and first time Land Rover owner. I just purchased a 2006 LR3 and it has 18' rims on it. If I were to put OEM 20' wheels on it would it void my warranty? The Range Rover wheels look so much better I wanted to dress it up a little. Thanks, Josh.

You have got to be kidding me...

That's like saying you need to use Chevron gas only!!!

I'm assuming this is going to be a street-only vehicle since you want 20's???

Well I was told that you will void the warranty from a dealership. And to be honest I wanted to upgrade to the HSE wheels which are 19' wheels. So on road use only, no not at all. Thanks for your reply though.

Ask the dealer not us. Every dealer acts differently.

Best of LUCK putting those 20's on a rocky trail.

Perhaps you should consider this as well POWERTANK - CO2 Air Systems you'll need it often

The Magnuson Moss act of 1975 is a Federal Law that prohibits your warranty from being voided. They can refuse repairs if a problem is directly related to the aftermarket part installed, but they can in no way void your warranty for any reason.

How in the world did you know that?

If the dealer told you that, you need to stay away from them altogether... Crooked son-of-a-bitches!

Well then, go with the 19's since you can get some bad-ass AT's in that size for the LR3... I think SideView has 19's and from the images I've seen, that LR3 has been on some awesome trails... 20's are for show only - the trails eat those up...
