Default Will They Fit

Ok guys and girls need some help, I have a set of mickey thompson mtz 265/75/16 that have about 40% tread left. Im ready to get some new rubber and wondering if 285's will fit on my truck, is anyone running a 285 with an old man emu lift? any help is appreciated.
Also I will be getting rid of the mtz's here shortly, I have 5 tires one with zero miles on it!
....Finally got my landy back on the road just did headgasket repair, with the help of one of my techs, driven her about 50 miles so far and no issues yet! Im so pumped

Yes, they will fit, depending on which OME lift you have, but why?
Are you ready for a great loss of power and at least 1 MPG less mileage, what about your diffs, the spider gears won't take that size tire for long without failing?

Just look up a camel trophy truck, they run 235's.

Im going with that size for my summer mudders I think. A little bit more forgiving on the drivetrain than the 265's.

Just put on 285 75R 16 Toyo Open Country MT's. I have noticed a decrease in horsepower and gas mileage... big one. Not sure I like them actually. I think I should have went narrower, which is an option.

I have OME 2" suspension lift and stock bumber with lower foglights for now. We had to trim the bumper to prevent rubbing, but I have a new one on the way so no biggie.

255/85s. 235s don't look right on a DII. the wheel wells are significatly larger than on a DI or RRC.

Probably a good choice. I think with the larger tires too you lose articulation.
