Yeah I hear ya on that one! I've never slept in my Rover, and judging by how hard the floor plus the rear seat folded all the way forward, it won't be comfortable. Plus I always got the camper, or tent.

damn, it's gonna cover lotsa area I assume...how many trails can be done by stock rig?

Don't worry, if your truck can't do some of the trails, you can always ride along with someone. Plus, there will be other things to do like hiking and fishing.

i think a stock rig can do all trails but holy cross. i dont even think were gonna do holy cross though. itll give everybody too much body damage.

Wheeler Lake will be a good test for stockie!!! Holy cross you must have a built up rig!! The rest will be done easily

Aaron, just fyi, I plan to make the trip and I'll try to get my dad to come along in his ranger. Steven, I think a convoy would be a good idea.

Just checked mapquest. Following their route, I would be passing moab only about 30 miles to the south. Problem is now, I could I drive more than 1k miles to get to colorado and not stop at moab?

Holy Cross tends to be a 2.5-3 day trail. 1st day driving there and getting a camping spot, 2nd day for the trail, and 3rd day to pack up and camp out. Plus if it is a popular day, it is packed. I waited 3 hrs once just to get to my turn on French Creek.

As for the stock vs built. Stock"ish" can make it , but not without damage.
