Default 1967 Series IIa 109" 5 door station wagon

Like the title says, I just bought an old series IIa station wagon. In need of a bit of work.... no engine right now, and lots of other stuff missing too...

I learned to drive on a 1961 88", and I've always wanted one of these. I'd been looking at this one sitting for the last 8 or 9 years and I finally bought it... the westlake 6 cylinder is gone, was being prepared for a rover V8 swap at one point, but I'm going to go with a turbodiesel (3 liter 5 cylinder mercedes) instead. Salisbury rear end. Winch. Overdrive. Not sure what all else it's going to get.

The website where I'll keep a tally of the progress:
Turbodiesel Landrover project

Towing it home with my friend's disco

And an old pic of it from the previous owner, from the early 90's
