Accidental Disco owner
I was recently trying to sell my '01 Saab since I mostly ride a scooter back and forth to work. My plan was to sell the Saab and buy a really cheap car to get back and forth on rainy days. So I found a guy who wanted to buy the Saab, but first needed to sell his '95 Discovery, which he wanted $1K for.
So we worked out a deal and I basically took the Disco as a trade-in on the Saab. Right off the bat, I had to put a new fuel pump in it. It has some over-sized tires that rub when turned too sharply, so I'm probably going to be replacing those soon.
Other than that, it just needs some clean up and TLC. It has 189K miles on it and fairly extensive records with it. My mechanic gave it a good look-over and said it looks good to go.
I'm glad I found this forum, as I'm sure I'll have issues from time to time. Just wanted to introduce myself and say HI.
