Aspiring Disco Owner!!!
Hi Guys,
Just signed up, and I'm extremely excited about joining the LR community. I've caught the bug pretty hard, and I'm on the hunt for a Disco. My main question is, which discovery is best for me?
I'm selling my 2001 Audi S4 in search of a discovery. I intend to make this truck my daily driver. At the same time, I make frequent trips to upstate PA to my friend's cabin. Almost everyone that comes to camp is a LR fanatic, especially series trucks. We take the trucks out on some pretty serious trails quite a bit, so I want to be able to keep up.
I've had my eye on the 03 Discovery, I think they look sharp, and it would serve great as a daily driver. But... I have my concerns of it's off-road capabilities.
I've heard great things about the late 1990s disco's off-road capabilities, especially having the locking diff, but I'm concerned about their reliability.
So what I'm saying is, I don't really know what direction to go, and I could use some expert advice! Thanks guys
