Default disco I in VA

hello all of you! My name is warren, 34, married and live in rocky mount virginia. I have a 96 disco, and really like the truck. It's the SE-7, so yep its comfy too. I have never had on of these vehicles before and I think it's very well built with good on road, and better off road. The only gripe I have is the gas milage, I think I'm being generous to say that I get 10 miles to the gallon.

I have had it on craiglist once or twice, but seems fate would like it if it just stayed with me... Theres a guy with an 87 jeep yj, thats part of a crawler club that is wanting to swap even with me.. but I am hesitant...

do you think I would be crazy to make such a trade?

I love the discovery, I just get restless with my vehicle, I love to trade around, my mom says it's in my blood. I have the wife a 03 caravan complete with clean title, so whatever i do is just for fun, although she has been pouting alot here lately with the talk of trading for a jeep.

oh well,, let me know what you all think, I wont get upset.

one more question,, does my truck have a low range, if so I havent been able to figure it out, It has the diff lock lever, you move it to the left, and the fwd indicator comes on, I know that I can shift it into 1st gear, but, does it have a 4-low like most fwd vehicles..

of course it has those ranges.. the right side is unlocked, the left locked. pushed forward, low gear. to the rear, high gear.

fuck a jeep.. rovers are great in so many ways.

ps gas mileage in an old jeep thats jacked up will be worse than it is now

First of all welcome aboard , and second ,rovers have so much more going for them than j**p's , rovers have real doors , real a.c. , real sunroofs , jump seats and leather . plus they are safer vehicles . the people dont like the j**P word here .
