Heeps? What's a Heep? Land Rover... It's not a Heep thing, It's the REAL thing! Hoo-Ah! Welcome to the insanity of Rover ownership.

thanks for the uplifting news. I told quite a few people about my purchase and several made some statements I was worried about. Then I considered the source. They all drive beat up, old, 4 x 4 pickups they constantly are repairing. I am difeinately looking forward to testing the Rover at Windrock, TN.

Since i purchased the rover disco 11(2004) i now have an opportunity to purchase a 2002. 45k miles in great condition. I can get it for $8500. is this reasonable or are will this be a bad investment?

The question you should be asking is if you have any reason or need to buy it. I could have bought a Disco 1 for a steal but I didnt based on the fact that I wouldn't drive it, and neither would the wife.
Just think, thats $8500 you could spend on your 2004. |

Good point, Alak. But then again, two Rovers are better than one. If you really get into the offroading side of it, you can modify the 04', and leave the 02' as a daily driver. Or, when one's broke down, at least you're not without a Rover to leak on the driveway.

I'll buy anything if it's really cheap. lol
I would keep the caravan if I were you. It's always good to have something that achieves some sort of gas mileage for long hauls. oh and welcome to the asylum now gets some pics of your Rover posted. We like to share our Rover porn around here.
