Default Greetings & Salutations from San Marcos, CA

Hi All,

I stumbled across this website a few days ago and after seing lots of useful information, I signed up.

I have a 1998 Green Disco with about 106K miles on it. Lots of upgrades - generally done AFTER an adventure that requires repairs. Fantastic vehicle. Lots of great trails with it. It was a daily driver for my wife for a while and has now had 2 accidents not of our making!

I also have a 1993 RRC LWB - ever see the move "The Money pit"? That's our Black Mamba! It was purchased as a project car and what a project it has turned out to be! For the past year or so it has been a daily driver for my 17 year old son - when it was running. Now that he has a reliable Toyota I am re-thinking the idea of putting this one into some shape for fun. So far it has not managed to go over about 800 miles without some mechanical or electrical breakdown.

I'll share what I have learned and ask for help when needed.

If you are in San Diego Area - give a shout perhaps we can find time to wheel!

- - Greg

Welcome aboard. And welcome to the insanity of Rover ownership.
