Default Greetings from southeastern Ohio

New to the forums, but have had my '99 Disco 1 many years. I've replaced the ball joints, coil pack, shocks, O2's, fuel pump, and the routine maintenance consumables. Pretty handy with a wrench. No major problems at 130K.
Glad to be aboard, and look forward to hopefully helping others as much as seeking advice.
The thing I like about Land Rover vehicles (maybe not the newer ones) is that A. there is a great aftermarket and plenty of support and B. they're made extremely well, and the design is user-friendly. That's a good thing, because getting OE parts locally (not to mention getting a repair at a Land Rover dealer) is an exercise in extortion. Sorry to offend any dealer-types, but if you want customer loyalty (and respect), maybe behave likewise.
Anyway, sorry to rant on my first thread. I love my old Disco.
Thanks, gang.

Er, sorry for the typo. Clarksville is actually in southwestern Ohio between Columbus and Cincinnati, exit 36 off of I-71.
Ooops.

Thanks.
i've often wondered why LR doesn't make some kind of integrated plug to make the process of adding aftermarket lighting a bit less tedious. Anyone have any insight? I have some Hella's and another pair of aftermarkets on a small roof rack. The wire routing is less optimal than I would prefer.
For front bull bar or nudge bar lighting, you don't want to tap into the existing parking or headlamp circuits, because they over-tax the switch on the turn signal stem. Ask me how I know this.
Any shortcuts or tricks?
