Default hello!

Hi everyone! My name is Sean and I just bought a used 92 LR Range Rover. Just wanted to introduce my self as I expect to spend some time on here! Couple quick questions! I haven't found any real problems with the car as of yet. It has the "Shelton"? v8 and only 68 thousand miles. Any problems I should prepare for or anything to take care of before it has an issue? Let me know and thanks!

p.s. Any good repair manuals worth buying?

Welcome to the asylum post up some pics of your rig.

There are a few sites out there that you can get the manuals from for free so I would do a quick search for those.

If you prefer a paper copy the bently manual for the RRC can be found on amazon.com.

I have no idea what a Shelton V8 is but all factory v8's in RRC were derived from the old Buick 215 V8 from the 1960's.

Even though you can't see it it has an LSE badge on the tailgate.

Lol I will. I'm pretty sure it is just the normal 3.9. I have done some research in the meantime and it seems pretty standard.

Usually here in the states (why I asked where you live) the badge is usually County or County LWB (long wheel base).

I think the LSE is from the trim package Vogue LSE or something similar.

Maybe one of our English cousins can help here.
