Hey Landies-

95 disco here all the way in Oregon. This is my first LR so I appologize in advance about the stupidity of my questions. Now, If I may:

I was on another forum and got some advice on basic maintenance. I changed fluid, plugs, oil, etc. wires on the way. I was told to clean the MAF and the ECU??

1. Cleaned the MAF but what the heck is the ECU and where is it?

2. disco sputters when in low gears just starting out. any recs???

3. does anyone know a good place to find pictures of these parts.

4. sunroofs are struggling to get up....recs??

First of all , welcome aboard . and second your ecu is electronic control unit . I would suggest you buy a discovery work shop manual from boarders books . They are about 25 or 30 dollars 250 pages . you have to order them but they tell you alot . I am not happy with mine and will be buying the bigger book, 120 dollars but 1200 pages .
