I would just like to take a minute and say hello to everyone and tell a little about myself. I am from California and have been serving in the US Air Force for about 10 years. I moved to the UK in may of last year and bought a 1981 Series III off of Ebay. I am new to Land Rover but not to the four wheel drive vehicles, back in the states i had a small collection of Land Crusiers (3 different ones) and always did my own maintenance and mods. So I look forward to learning about the Land Rover and maybe even offering some insight.

Welcome aboard. What base do they have you stationed at? I had an aunt and uncle in the USAF that got stationed at a NATo base in UK back in the early 90's. Hope to have you around statesside soon. Enjoy the insanity.
