Hello, new guy here.

I just wanted to say hello. I have been a big Land Rover fan in general for a long time. Ever since my uncle had a RR and a Discovery in the late 90's. I fell in love with them, however I was scared away from them by almost everyone else I know for a long time.

I currently don't own one but I would like to get myself a used model sometime in the near future. I just decided to start checking out the forum here and do a lot of research so that when it comes time to buy, I will have a lot more knowledge about these vehicles and I'll be able to make the best decision I can.

It seems like this site has some great people with a lot of knowledge.

I look forward to reading more here, and look even more forward to owning one of these great vehicles soon.

Ask as many questions as you need, it's nice to see someone prepareing to make a purchase not just run out and buy one. It is the worst feeling to find that the LR you just bought was a trade in because the other person did not maintain it and now needs alot of work. So many threads start off here.."I just bought a LR and need help..."
