Default Hello from the sticks!

Hi, I'm new here at the forum, ie: the F.N.G.

I have a collection of Rovers and the love of them that I inherited from my father. They consist mainly of Series II and IIa. I've been involved with Rovers since I was small and the interest is with me today. Speaking of dear old dad, has anyone ever heard of or remembers David O. Hudson (the Guru)? He worked for the Atlantic British in Lewiston Ca. till they closed. After the company basically got shipped to Vermont, Dad continued to work out of his garage.

I still drive a Rover. I'm currently operating a Series II 109" diesel Station wagon with a few add-ons, ie: an overdrive and turbocharger. Yes, a turbo. There's a variety of others around here that are left from dad and granddad, pickups, 88s, etc, and enough parts to last me several lifetimes. One of my favorite things is to spend time with my brother and tipping a few back.

Anyone who comes out to the Lewiston area is welcome to stop by and do a burnt sacrafice with me. ie: Bar-B-Q (LOL) Bring your own sacrafice and brew! e-mail me before you come up, so that I can give directions.

See you whilst motoring! Happy trails!
