Default hey, y'all 05LR3

Now this seems like a good place to hang out! My wife surprised me with an
LR3 for Christmas a year ago. Wow. Been driving a '95 4runner that I thought I'd keep forever. I truly loved that rig. So far only minor problems, except the brake sensor went out and that caused a slew of other systems to become inoperative. But the dealers (been to three different ones) have been very responsive. The LR's been pretty good off-road, though I was surprised at how easily the paint scratches. Also got the truck thoroughly mired in the mud of Colorado and had to get towed out. Ouch. Upgraded the tires to the Nittos but havn't taken them out to the boonies yet. After reading some of the other posts I'll definately watch the wear, keep 'em balanced and rotated. It's got the side steps but I'm thinking of changing to bars. Also need a winch and roof basket. Should'a had that winch earlier, eh?

Welcome aboard. Good to see you using it. There a couple of members here whom regularly wheel LR3's. So, hopefully, this will be a good place for you to hang. Welcome to the insanity.
