Hi everybody!!!

i'm a new Rover owner. Just want to say hi, been reading some posts. I've never really used forums before but I think it's pretty cool people helping out others! I have 2 questions that I'm sure has been asked many times over! 1) Will aftermarket wheels void my factory warranty?
2) What the hell are the 3 amigos? From reading, I've determined it has somethin to do with ABS!

Thanks to whoever helps! By the way it's an 06 RR Sport (I know most of u are off-roaders. I'll get there eventually, but until then I need some help with my city truck

Welcome and congrats on your new truck!

1) I don't think aftermarket wheels will void your factory warranty, but I could be wrong.

2) The Three Amigos are TC, HDC, ABS - when they light up on your instrument panel - some people drive around for years and many thousands of miles with them lit up.

The "Three Amigos" is a short description for a symptom of driving along and all of a sudden the ABS will activate and three dash warning lights come on; Hill Decent Control, Electronic Traction Control, and Anti-Lock Braking System (HDC/ETC/ABS). Usually the problem may be with a sticking shuttle valve within the ABS unit, or ABS wire (as mentioned above). Any visit to the LR Dealer (will bring monetary pain) and either they will try to fix the problem (shuttle valve, wires, etc) or replace the modulator and throw new parts at it until it fixes itself.

Your from Oklahoma? How are the "Seattle" Sonics doing?

I wouldnt worry about the three omigo's.I dont believe they will have anything to do woth the uprated TC system on your RRS.Don't worry about swapping wheels over it wont void your warranty unless you try to go way too big and then there may be a problem.I would however call your insurance company straight away as they will be the ones with the issue.Some do not like aftermarket wheels on without being told.They can in some cases invalidate your insurance in an accident as they can concider it a breach of the upgrade portion of your agreement.
