Cool Hi, Everyone ! My intro. I guess?

WOW! What a site this is.... Really good to become one of you!
I have had little to do with forums B4, so just playing at mo`.
Ive worked on and owned lots of rova`s over the years in uk. Now i have ventured into a new life in middle east...... Dubai .
Didn`t take long to miss my 4x4`s so i had to buy another, my choice would`ve been another classic rangie but they not easy to find here so i ended up with low mileage 01 p38.

Nice bit of high centering in that picture. Must have been a fun recovery. Welcome to the insanity. Good to have you.

Nah, that was dragged backwards, successful second attempt though. Mud and sand different gas games, new learning curve. Excellent fun surfing sand in 2 ton of car, Modified front and rear plastic in two trips.
Lettin dessert start the mods...... LOL.

Why do I have a feeling that the shocks are blown out in the back of that peugeot? Holy cow, I can't believe that thing can even move with that load!

How do you like the 01' P38a? My next Rover is going to be an 02' P38, so I'm trying to get as many opinions as I can. I'm buying it, no matter what. But I still like to hear owners likes/dislikes...

Electrics givin me headache @ the moment not sus but immobiliser .
Tooo many ecm`s, ecu`s, becm`s....... U want me 2 carry on..... Wicked car and i ain`t gonna give in.
If you gonna go playin in water, mud errr wetstuff check out the `leccy probs first.. I thought it was safe bet here cos its dry most of the time, but still got the build problems.. Ha! soon i`ll should have most of them sorted so you`ll benefit.... LOL..

Love those electrics, eh? LOL! I've got an '02 DII for my toy and off-roader. Cost too much to keep off-roading, though , due to cost of replacing stuff on such a technologically advanced vehicle. So am building a 68' Series IIa for the heavy off-roading, deep water, mud, etc... Want the P38a just fore long haul driving and going out at night. Spend a lot of time at the theatre, opera, museums, wine tastings, etc... And the Tundra just doesn't fit in to that crowd. Great for towing, but not for my social outlook. lol.
