Default Hi! I'm an excited new Land Rover owner!

I just bought a 2002 LR Disco II SE - I'm very excited! I have a couple of questions for you experts.

This may be a silly question, but I bought an SE, not an SE7 - is it possible to add the rear jump seats to an SE for additional seating?

I have a few of the "Three Amigo" lights on and I want to take it in to have it looked at. Any suggestions for a good mechanic/shop in Columbus OH who knows Rovers?

Hello and Welcome!

If you haven't already gone somewhere to get this looked at you have a couple easy options.

Dealership - @ $129.00 to hook it up and read / reset the fault codes that will help you diagnose your rover's issue.

Local Autozone/Checker Auto - many retail parts places will read your codes for free, give you a print out of the codes and sometimes recomended parts or solutions.

Once you have the codes, come back here and search "three amigos" or "fault codes" you will find alot of information and people to help with suggestions. I say this only because of past experience. There could be 32 different reasons for those lights to come on and you can spin your wheels and spend alot of cash getting nowhere with this issue.

Wrong, an OBDII scanner will not pull the ABS fault codes. You need a dealer or indy to pull the codes with a testbook or whatnot. Or find someone in your area with the ABS amigo.

True, on the ABS codes, thus option one. It seems we preech alot of "get the codes" that's the direction I was going. Based on the all 3Amigos posts, it could be many things other than an ABS fault. Testbook could clear them and they never return, it could be a low voltage battery....... I had a so called expert (Independent) tell me without hesitation it was my ABS shuttle valve, nope he was wrong..many variables that is for sure. I should buy an ABS Amigo and share it for postage and handling.

Link to the ABS Amigo.

Just trying to welcome a new owner. Thanks for the blast
