Hey Rover-fans,

I just joined and a month ago I finally went up to Big Cypress. Driving up the gravel road (22 f*#$*in miles) to get there from the permit office, I saw about 20 Rovers of various models heading South and everyone seemed cool and shouted out to me with their lights a flashing!!

Can anyone tell me if there is a scheduled event or certain weekends a group of Rovers go to Big Cypress... A So. Florida Rovers Club.

There was about 20 or so of us out there the 3rd week of this past March from the Fort Lauderdale Landrover Dealership. We get together 3 or 4 times a year and go different places. If you want further information see:

I do... they mostly do not (friggin Range Rover guys). I beat the crap out of my '04 but have to take it easy on the LR3. It's the wife's DD.

Thanks Tom... that WAS you guys as that is when I was there in a Silver 2004 Disco.

I actually got my 04 Disco from you guys at FT. Lauderdale. A great experience.

So how do I get in on the action? Is it a regularly scheduled event? Would love to hook up.

Hey Warren... just go to the web site and submit your email addy... the next time they schedule an event you'll be notified. I live across the street from their marketing advisor so I usually get the scoop before it's posted

Nice. Where do you go?

Mostly out in the Everglades, Big Cypress, a couple times in Corbett (when it wasn't underwater) and some of the state parks in N. Florida.

It's hard to find people who will actually go when they say they will. So I usually go by myself.
