Good to have you aboard, John. Sounds like a well prepared ride. Some good additions to make it expedition worthy. Enjoy the site. And welcome to the insanity.

Thanks guys
She cops a fair flogging the old girl but she loves it, out of every 10k i do at least 4k is offroad.
Only things i really need now are Lockers and a "Attach buggerd Toyota's here" sticker for the back, or "Official Nissan recovery vehicle" sticker.

Hah good one, i could count on one hand the number of Hummers i have seen over here and none offroad, not that many Jeeps here either, shame really i think the Jeeps are heaps better(off road) than the Landcruiser and Patrol's that every man and his dog has here, still can't hold a candle to the Landy though
Having said that though the Cherokee is a bit of a joke off road, i've seen 4 burn to the ground in the sand dunes. Same story, new car, no experience, don't let the tyres down the auto overheats and the car catches fire. The exhaust runs around the gearbox both sides, what were they thinking.
