Title says it all. I'm a Montreal native, got my first Rover last spring, March to be exact. She's a 1997 Disco with a roaring 4L V8. The poor girl is hardly recognizable from when I rescued her from the used car dealer. I spent most of the summer working on rebuilding the brakes which were seized on 3 of the 4 wheels, replaced the exhaust, rebuilt the seized CDL, sanded and painted the roof white like a proper Rover should have and about a million other little things here and there.
Right now she's sporting a set of 285/75r16 TrXus MTs, 2" OME suspension lift with 2" spacers, braided stainless steel brake lines, some wicked Roccia flares and a genuine brush guard. This summer comes the sliders, bumpers, snorkel and lockers (hopefully). Possibly a roof rack with some lights if I win the loto...
She's definitely a trail rig more than a daily driver at this point. She turns a lot of heads downtown
