Default Hello everyone

Interested in traveling Central America in Defenders??? contact me, just starting an Adventure Tourism company with Land Rovers. Currently I have one 110 SW and two 130 dual cab HCPU, finishing repairing the one of the last ones.

I grew up with two Series II 88, one hard top and one soft top. My family had to eventually sell them. In the last years I have bumped into a few used Defenders for sale, and decided to start the company.....

My job keeps me traveling between El Salvador and Nicaragua, so I am always on the lookout.... have recently spotted a Series II 109 SW in very good condition.... trying to see if the bank will lend me the money....

Hey everyone!

I have to admit, at heart I am a bit of a British sports car guy, but as soon as I think of dirt and adventure the first thing that crosses my mind is Land Rover. Absolutley the best for negotiating new territory both big and small.

After years of pondering and distractions, I have finally purchased my road-legal tank It's an (name undetermined other than "The Beastie") 03 Discovery SE, 5 seater, Factory brush guard, Zambesi Silver (coinsidently matches the grrls 04 G35), with black interior. Sounds OK right? Here is the fun bit, only 36K on the odo, no off road and garage stored! Maintenace is a bit questionable as last milage service was done locally, but that was 2 years ago! Currently getting all of its fluids exchanged at the local dealer, and going full sythetic.

Cheers!

Hello from IL. Have owned Rovers now for 9 years and hope I can offer some knowledge on the artful repair of the loved Land Beast. Have had a D1 for 9 yrs., RRC for 5 ( sadly gone ) and a P38A 4.6 HSE for 3 yrs. On all forums I am Jagfixer, AKA Larry K. Looks like a nice site.

Hey Russ, been away from there about 20 yrs, but have you found Lake Dennison State Park. About 1 hr west on rte 202- between phillipston and winchendon? Some trails out through the 500 acres there And you're really not far from the White & Green Mts! Go exploring man!

Smile Hi!

My name is Gin aka Lady Rover. On my second Rover. First was a '98 Disco, Traded for an '00 couple of years ago. Most of my off roading was done in northern Ma. over logging terrain. Now in W. Tn. Transport Great Danes for a Rescue Org. - so I really do run with the big dogs! LOL! Disco gives them plenty of room on a long haul. I am considerably older than most posts I see here, but my toys have always had wheels and I like taking care of my own. Also like to go when I want and where I want.
