Just for giggles heres a pic of my last rover.

She moved about 5ft.the jeep was in 3 pieces.I drove home in my sisters bmw. They left in an ambulance.Cant argue about the toughness of a Range Rover
But i did spend a fortune on it and it had a sticker i got from a fellow RRC owner that said "Tally ho ya'll" but im enjoying my SWB just as much

Damn an Optima...was any of this salvagable?
Did you keep it or let it go to insurance.

I only had liability on her
So i got screwed by the cops, they said it was my fault even though i was stopped. In kennesaw GA the last thing you want is a cop.Racist judgemental, and just plain horrible to talk too. Most of them just dont care. The"witness" was a friend of the idiot that hit me.So i got a ticket for failure to yeild and the insurance company wouldnt fix anything. So i grabbed what i could and just said fuck it and waited till i could get another RRC.I wanted my ABS pump and my battery.....But neither one was worth it.The battery was badly damaged and my abs pump was covered with various bits of my front end.I grabbed my spare m/t and cds and walked away.I couldve got more im sure but had no real place to tear it down.
I get pissed every time i think about it.That dude got away with a lot.His two infant kids were in the jeep with him.If it would have been a solid hit it wouldve been worse. He jumped a light was doing 70 in a 45,and passed in an intersection cuz the guy in front of him was stopping. He hit me in the median because he lost control of his jeep.I got screwed but he nearly killed his family because he didnt feel like stopping.Hope he remembers that shit.Lots of people dont understand the destructive force behind an auto.

I've decided that it about time I stopped lurking and said hello.

I live in northwest Queensland, Australia and have owned my rover for about 7 months. I bought it so I could do some bush bashing, camping, and go to the track to watch my horse in pseudo-style. I've wanted to own a Rover for 20 years and it the first car I have bought that I really wanted.

Went for a mini-bash last weekend and got a flat, sidewall damage. So this weekend will be a bit quite.

Currently looking at more accessorys and I think I will end dropping more coin pimping it up than the value of the car. The latest is a mate has offered me his HF radio for $2K.

Cheers

Stephen

Hello & Welcome all the new people here!

I'd be trying to get a job with Land Rover if I lived where you do baron-red!

87 What kind of Rover do you have?

PS We love pictures here so post em if you've got em.
