Hi all, I just purchased a 1996 Land Rover Disco XD last night. I am hoping to bring it home on Wednesday evening. It needs a new head gasket and a couple other maintenance items, but overall it's in really nice shape. According to the current/previous owner it's one of just 28 imported by Land Rover for the 1996 British Columbia Discovery Eco-Challenge race. This one still has the correct decals, seat covers et al.
I look forward to learning a lot about the XD and disco in general. Future plans call for an old man emu suspension and slighly larger tires. Aside from that, I plan to leave it as original as possible.
