landys live on...all else dies!!!!
Hello to all,I'm Kim,54 yrs old and been messin' with landys since I was a kid on the farm.More accustommed to hammers and fencing wire than computers which is why its taken so long to get here!At present I'm farming organic cocoa in Grenada,West Indies.Landys owned over the years are:1948 pre series side valve,1952 SWB,1955 LWB,1963 LWB fitted with straight 6 out of Rover 90 car,
1971 SWB diesel,1978 LWB.At present I am running a hybred made up of a cut down Classic chassis and running gear fitted with a 200TDI out of a Disco and a LT77 box,heavy duty winch and towing gear on oversize tires etc.All this is covered by a totally beaten up series IIA body with no roof or door tops and looks like it should have been dumped in the scrap bin years ago.Looks like a complete pile of junk,goes like a rocket,pulls like a tank and turns on a sixpence,just the way I love 'em!!!!!,,,peace to all...Kim...
