Default Looking at buying a rover

I am looking at buying a 04 DSC 2, G4 edition. it is a one owner car. Fairly well takin car of. 60K miles. The engine is seeping at almost every seal. I have a friend who is a very good mechanic that is willing to reseal the whole motor for $700 pus about $400 in parts. I can pick up the discovery for $10K. This a deal I should jump on? This would be my first rover, just concerned about long term reliability.

X2!!!

You could easily grab 17-18 for that ruck in Florida. We routinely pay 20k down here for low mileage G4's.

Great find!
