Default Michelin Latitude Tyre Vibration

Hello
I've just had two Michelin Latitude Tour HP 215/65 R16 H (102) tyres fitted to my three year old Freelander TD4 2.0ltr Auto Freelander, as rec' by local dealer, replacing two Synchrone's (same spec') that were fitted from new, ahead of the vehicles first MOT. The vehicle now has it's original Sychrones on rear and Latitudes on front.
(Michelin have replaced Synchrone's with Latitude's apparently)
With the new config' I have also gained a vibration at approx' 30mph thru to 55mph (incl. extra road noise). I was told by Black Circles (the supplier) that this was common on Freelanders and should have replaced all four tyres to eradicate the problem.
I'm no scientist and sounds v.odd to me. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Default Put new tyres on REAR

Hi you say the new tyres are now on the front ??
That is were your problem is as you should NEVER put new tyres on the front of a Freelander.
Landrover insist new tyres on REAR because of the drive ratios to the rear wheels, if you put new on the front it will cause the viscous coupling to overwork causing a wind up of the transmission system resulting in failure of either vc , Ird or rear dif because of the increased circumference of the new tyres.
Put your 2 new tyres on the rear straight away and problem should be solved.
