Talking My first LR, 99 Disco II SE

I am new to the LR world but I am excited to be part of it, although from what I have read on here maintaining one is expensive. I am currently stationed in MO but leaving for my next duty station in CA near LA, this summer. I felt this vehicle was great for me because fishing and hunting in the mountains are a few of the pleasures I enjoy in life. I also needed a vehicle that could reliably tow my Harley.
The interior of the LR is the sweetest vehicle I have owned it has all the perks. I purchased this after driving a 4 door Chevy Blazer for five years. There is no comparison the Blazer is like a bag full of dog doodoo compared to the LR. I have never owned a V8 and I definitely love the power.
This site is great, it is awesome that so many people pass great advice. Trust me I will need some soon.
Cheers to the mountains and cheers to having fun in a LR.

This seems to be the only place I can post and I have a few questions for the experienced that do not belong with an introduction. Please enlighten me on posting in different forums.

When you make it to the LA area, get in touch with the SCLR, which is one of the larger better clubs in the area.

Welcome aboard. Once you have a few posts up, you'll be able to post anywhere. Enjoy the truck.
