Hi All,

Long-time Land Rover owner; First time forum member.

Live near Newcastle Australia. Married with 2 daughters, 2 cattle dogs, a half-finished house and 3 Landies.

The only runner in my Landie collection is a 1958 SWB Series 1 sporting a 2.25L 2A motor and gearbox. This old girl is my first Landie and I've had her 25 years now. Always looked rough around the edges as she was a plumbers truck and then a shooters buggy, but very sound beneath the skin.

I've got a second Series 1 original with very good body panels but rotten chassis. One of these days.............

I've also got a LWB Series 2a tray top utility I sourced from a farm in Western NSW. I pulled it apart, galvanised the chassis, bulkhead and radiator panel and then sat the whole lot in a corner. One of these days............

Looking forward to reading all about others' Land Rover joys and disasters in the forum in the future.
