Default New Guy in Calgary, AB

Hi All,

New to the Forum, doing some research on an old Land Rover that my dad and I are attempting to restore. Used to belong to someone in our family that was "going to fix it up" for the longest time, until not so long ago they finally gave it up and sold it.

Since then we have been looking at ways to repair/restore/rebuild this beast and hopefully having running on the road again one day. There is a lot to do with research first to find out more about the background of this thing...which I believe is a Series One from 1953...like I said, a lot to learn.

We have spent some time at Rover Boys in Calgary and have had a lot of help from them, very nice place to deal with. Ive attached a picture and as you can see its a little rough. Anyone with suggestions please fire them off, would love to hear anything that anyone has to say.

Cheers
Mike
