Actually I feel he was given a good solid response to his inquiry but got a bit pissy when it didn't fit his my Rover is special feeling and started lashing out at those that had told him what he didn't want to hear.

That is not at all acurate.
I say post the thread in it's entirety, and let the masses decide.
I got jumped, plain and simple.
Why not post up some of those great shots pf that oh so special LSE with the huge gaping hole in the back for all of us to see just how special your DI really is.
OK, good idea.
Iwas inquiring about the strange gap at the top arrow, and Paul was kind enough to tell me that it looked like a trim piece that was supposed to be for a rear A/C unit, but there was no rear A/C present, so it was added (he used hacked) in after.
There is only one jumpseat in the rear, and as he advised me, they only came in pairs, so it must have been added on at some point. (again, he used hacked in)
I also had a question about the fact that the Disco I bought from my Dad is a 1997 LSE, and had seen online that it was a bit of a rarity in 97, because they technically didn't come out untill 98, the LSE that is, and was wondering (to myself) if that was related to the single rear seat issue.
I do not know much about LR's, but I have heard that they have done some "one off" or short run types.
So here I am with this gaping void in the trim in the cargo area, and I hit him up for some parts he offered in a previous post.
Rapid Deteriation of Thread commenced.
Anyhow, if anyone has any info on the short run of LSE's they made in Ocober of 1997, I'd love to find out as much as I can about my "oh so special LR."
For what it's worth, I think it's cool.
Sure it's not an XD by any stretch,
but some people still value nostalgia.
I unlike you am not a personnel attack against someone for giving me a honest assessment. You however do seem to be...
I'm glad you fought for that right, I still am. Also remember freedom of speech doesn't apply on a public use forum that is privately owned. Thats why there are moderators to control what is said.
Oh and my feelings around here are never a shocker but this is.....

???
What does that mean exactly?
Who controls the Moderators?
For the benefit of all those morbidly interested in the thread that caused this whinefest, I have reopened it. So for those of you wanting to waste a few precious moments of your life that you will never get back, please visit his thread in the DI section.

Exactly!
I've never seen Paul get worked up like that either. Must have been some interesting PM'ing.
My suggestion to you Diff, don't post for a week or two & let this blow over. Then start again with a different attitude. Or you could just go to DWEB and ask for help there.

AGREED, DIFF: there is a ton of info on this forum and alot to educate yourself with, so just chill for a bit and stay around if you would like, it is a public forum. I have been on both forums and I would recommend staying on LRO cheers to you .
