Default New LR2 Owner

Hi,
Just a quick intro to say I just picked up a brand new 2008 Land Rover LR2 after an exhaustive search for a new 4x4. I recently sold my 1998 Jeep Wrangler. Here is a picture of the Wrangler and then a picture of my new LR2.

Congrats on the new LR2! They're really such a quantum leap from the old freelander and truly are worthy of the LR badge (at least IMHO).

Dude, what an upgrade. From a dirty little heep, to a clean little landie. Nice addition. You'll be very surprised with what it's capable of. Enjoy. And welcome to the board.

Default LR2 Ownership

Hi
It's good to have another LR2 member on the site. I jumped out of a 98 Durango, which was a good dependable off-roader, into my new Land Rover that just seems to make life a lot easier both on and off of the road.
4 trips off of the pavement so far. Only complait is the lack of gas tank skid plates.
How are the stock tires in the snow?
I live in San Diego not much of the white stuff here.
Have fun
Tom
