Name: Harrison
Location: Long Island, New York
Age: 16
Current Car: None, i drive my parents LR2 and MDX a little but thats it.

okay, i am 16 and i turn 17 in march, i am in drivers ed now so I'll get my full license at the end of june. I like european cars, I wanted a Lotus but the insurance is through the roof so I decided on the Land Rover. Either a LR3 and Range Rover Sport. I am paying for it myself because when I was little I was a child actor so I have more then enough for the car I wont be spending even half my money on it. ughh thats pretty much all I have to say you guys can ask me stuff if you want.

There was another 16 year old that joined recently that was wanting to get a Range Rover Sport. I just do not relate, some people work their entire lives before even being able to consider buying such a vehicle. At any rate, more power to you I guess.

Ok, I give, so what shows or movies have you acted in that we might know of?

Welcome by the way.

no shows or movies just commercials and modeling for toy magazines and things like that. The only one that i really remember was brawney paper towels and I had to chase a big st. bernard running around making a mess. That was from the mid 90's I think.

Yeah, I think I actually remember that commercial.

You know, have you considered perhaps buying an old car and then go through the stages of restoring it or even an old Rover and gradually making it just the way you want? With your money, you could pay somebody to make it pretty sweet and learn about the vehicle as you go along. There is something powerful about that anticipation, perhaps you have felt that waiting to just get your Lotus etc., but I just think instant gratification is a dangerous thing.

That said, you will love the rover, perhaps get bored of it and you will be on to the next thing. Again, I cannot relate to getting such a vehicle at age 16.

So what color are you wanting to get? Do you intend to off-road it at all?

C

sorry for the semi-lecture by the way.

haha no problem about the lecture. Well I like old muscle cars like MOPAR and the camaro and firebird, but my mom wont let me get one because it doesn't have airbags.

I was considering Black, White, and if they have the Grayish Black Metallic color that...and the most off roading I will do is the beach.

The old mother block, well, she does have a valid point, I would want my kid safe as well.

You should do the Sport over the LR3 then if its just going to be beach.

Black would be sweet, shit now you got me dreaming.

Wow, if I could have had a Sport to pick up the girls when I was sixteen.

Well, you going to put a stereo system in it?

I am sure the stock one is great, but still, you got to put the sweet system in it.

You know I have been out of the loop on the stereo stuff and things continue to change. The last stereo system I had-Eclipse head unit, MB Quart separates, JL tens and Precision Power Amplifiers, but that was quite a few years back.

Yeah, getting a used one is the way to go anyways, just make sure its still under warranty or buy an extended one.

05 is still more than new to me.

Make sure you post pics on here once you get it.

Congratulations on the soon to getting your license and Rover, gotta run.

Later
