Default New member advise

Hello all, I'm a new member and this is my first post... I love the looks of the Discovery's and I'm thinking about buying a 2000-2004 and leaning toward the 04's. I have a CJ and take the family on some pretty decent off roading trips. I am looking for a good cross country vehicle that can also take us out on the town in style. I have seen some of the Disco's have some sort of locking dif but I have no idea how to tell if the ones i'm looking at have it or not.... Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Daryl

2004! And Tom and I can agree that Epsom green is sexier than white. Sorry Chris!

Thanks for the advise, what kind of milage can I expect for around town and highway driving. I have heard 13mpg but don't really trust the source.

I get 12 city and 17-18 highway. If you're looking for mpg you probably don't want a Landrover.

Depends on how you drive. I might get around 270 on a full tank. That is with about 1/3 of the miles on hwy, and the rest in town. Which equates to somewhere around the 13 mpg range.

Its Atlanta, must drive defensively to stay alive. Also, its time for seafoam!

I Seafoamed last month and it really makes a noticable difference. I can't understand why my neighbors don't like it though.

That's acceptable for what it is and if you compair the Rover 13/18 to my old Cherokee or a new Wrangler it's rite there with them maybe 2mpg's off but much better styling in the Rover...
