My wife bought for us a '98 Disco in summer of '06. It had approx 104K miles, a bent front bumper with none of the plastic pieces--got a new bumper and brush guard to replace what was there(still no plastic).
There was a time it wouldn't shift out of park; took the cover off the shift handle and repositioned the clip for the shift cable.
Used to leak like a sinking ship, the sunroof wasn't working but wasn't closed all the way either; for my birthday the next year, my wife got the sunroof fixed--it quit leaking, but has quit working again(at least this time in the fully closed position).
It is totally awesome in not-so-perfect driving condtions! ...would like to get it running again before it is 'needed' again!
