Default New Rover Owner

Hello all! I figured I would be a real Rover owner and post my issues before I said "Hi". I just bought a 1996 Discovery SE7 with 176,000 miles. Body and interior in GREAT shape, White. Please see the Discovery 1 section for the laundry list of issues and questions. I have read a ton of posts here before I joined and it looks like the only hard and fast rule is to stay away from asking what type of oil to use..........

All in all I want to learn to drive and take care of my Rover and fix a few of the nagging issues. I know just enough mechanical to be dangerous! Any help would be great.
